Actwities
Tbe tiinton Tri-Hi-Y has held
many activities this school
year. Tbese activities have in-
cluded: a bake sale in Sept-
ember, we took cupcakes to
hospital patients, in October-
collected for UNICEF and held
a Halloween Party for the ch-
ildren at Avis, and won 2rid
place for our float in the Itome-
coming Parade• In November -
held our annual Rock-a-than on
the 9 & 10, sponsored Hi- Y week
which involved issuing apples to
the teachers, taking Gatorade
to Basketball players, sponsor-
ing Youth A Flame singers, and
holding a mum's the Word Day,
also in November we partici-
pated in Fall Cnnferenee at
Jackson's Mill• Each month we
attend a different church. Dur-
ing December we gave toys to
the toy Fund, gave to the Rex
Garten Memorial Fund, bought
a magazine subscription for the
Library, will be selling note
cards, holding a bake sale,
attending Zion Mr. Church and
will be holding the annual Ch-
rishnas Dance on December 22.
The Christmas Dance Sweet-
heart is Mary Jane Angotti.
Regular meetings are every 1st
& 3rd Tuesday's.

Kevin Martin Burns celebrat-
ed his second birthday Novem-
ber 16, 1979. lie is the son of
Richard R. and Sandra Mead-
ows Burns and the grandson of
Mr.and Mrs. Tommy R. Mead-
ows of Hilldale; and Mr. and
Mrs. Martin E. Burns of Dick-
inson, Texas. Great- grandpar-
eqts are Mrs. Aloha M. Hake of
Willowwood. and Mr. and Mrs2
llugh fluff of West York, lll-
[lois, and Mr. Ted Meadows of
llinton. Burns fan|ily will soon
be transferred to Jacksonville,
Florida.
