The Hinton Area Community
Center's Board of Directors meet on
the second Tuesday of every months
1999 Snow King
and Queen Court
Hinton Area Elementary recently crowned the 1999 Snow King
and Queen. The 43 participants raised over $8800 for the PTO.
The Snow King was Joshua Meadows, son of Timothy and Sara
Meadows. Snow Queen was Held; Vandall, daughter of Greg and
Shirley Vandall. Snow Prince was Jared Turner, son of Lloyd and
Geraldine Turner. Snow Princess was Samantha Hamrick,
daughter of James and Christina Hamrick. The participants were
selected by their classmates to run for king and queen. The other
participants were: 5th grade: Samantha Wilson, Darrell Turner,
Stacey McBride, Joseph Rush, Shana Adkins Jordan Berry. 4th
grade: Amanda Ward, Andy Gunnoe, Sherry Meadows, Brandon
Eagle, Audra Adkins, Nick Thomas. 3rd grade: Alexandra McGill,
l L. Meadows, Rachel Meadows, Jamie Dove. 2nd grade: Morgan

Hold First Family Christmas
Dinner
The Summers County Girl Scouts
held their first family Christmas
dinner on December 14th at Hinton
Area Elementary. The dinner was
organized by HAE Junior troop
leader Cathy Richmond. Over 40
Girl Scout families attended the
event. It was a great evening with
delicious food prepared and served
