Thought For Today- Magnify-
ing and praising ttle Lord are
two of our most blessed priv-
ileges.
Ieading From The Bible- And
Mary said My soul doth magn-
ify the Ixn'd and my spirit hath
rejoiced in Gad Iny Saviour. (
Luke l: 46- 47) The honor which
God bestowed upon Mary far
surpassed ttle recognition given
tn any other woman in Ills-
tory. ller altitude was one of
shtqere humility. Now beauti-
fully she spoke of her "low
estate" and her need of a
personal Savior! tter supreme
desire was to "Magnify the
Lord ". It was out of full-
ness of her heart and the
richness of her faith that Mary
lifted her praise to God. It is
evident from mary's words of
praise thai she was expressing
lle Scripture. As we read
thi-ough the Word of God and
saturate our mind with our
wonderful l,ord we, tot) should
express deep feelings of praise
atd thanksgiving. My heart
t'eqices in the Lord, mine horn
(.
enemies; because 1 rejoice in
thy Salvation. ( Samuel 2:1).$
Memory Verse For the Week-
For God so loved the world, that
he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosever believeth in him
should not perish, but have
everlasting life, JOhn 3:16..
