While Hinton wound down it's Historic Hinton Railroad Days much was
going on down at the railroad tracks.
Tourists were piling out of the train, hurrying up the embankment to
enjoy Hinton's welcome. To keep the train's car facili tie s operating smoothly
on the return trip, the Summers Co. Volunteer Fire Dept. was busy filling
water holding tanks.
For those who have never seen the inside of the passenger cars, a treat
is in store. For the pleasure of Hinton Newspaper's readers, a "peek" was
granted.
