The cooler weather has officially set in and there isnothing cozier
than curling up with a good book on a chi!ly day. If you need to stock
up on reading material, stop by our annual book sale?
The sale starts Friday, October 14 and runs through Sunday,
October 23. The Friends of the Library will be there from 9 a.m. - 4
p.m. every day, all week long for a total of 10 days.
The sale will be held in CASE building on Third Avenue between
Temple and Summers Street. While the Friends of the Library are
busy at the Book Sale, Austin and I are getting ready for Halloween.
We're super excited to participate in REACHH's 4th-annualTrunk
or Treat on Saturday, October 22 from 5 - 7 p~m. in theparking lots of
DHHR and First Century Bank. This year we've decided to give
something that lasts longer than a jaw-breaker.., we're giving out
books! Thanks to the Friends of the Library, we were able to purchase
250 new books to give out to the Trunk or Treaters!
