Church in Hinton with the Rever-
end Delvin D. Elwell and the Rever-
end Daniel Ferguson officiating.
Following a prelude of musical
selections, the bride was escorted to
the altar by her father and given in
marriage by her parents.
She wore a formal gown of wh;:e
satin with a sweetheart neckline and
offthe lhouldor caplets adorned w]th
dropped pearls. The fitted bodice was
overlaid with sequined schiffi lace
encrulted With seed pearls. The full
flowing satin skirt was edged in
md]0ped lace, 11e cathetial
windows and pea-aFIs. H-e-r illusion
weli Wsa adorned with lace, sequins
and ed pearls.
She carried a cascading white
Bridesmaids were Miss Carleen
Burton, Miss Mellissa Hockenberry,
and Miss Karen Hemintoller, all of
Roanoke, Vs. They wore gowns iden-
tical to the Maid of Honor and car-
lied similar bouquets.
Best Man was Mr. Gregory Ro-
gers of Hinton. Groomsmen were
Mr. John O'Nea] IV, of Princeton,
Mr. Dale McCumbee of Berkley
Springs, and Mr. Roger Hedge of
Hinton. All wore black tie and tails.
Ushers were Mr. Michael Han-
nah of Rockhill, S.C., Mr. Melvin
Ryan and Mr. A. W. Ryan of Hinton.
They were attired in black tuxedos.
The Flower Girl, Miss Heather
Leslie, lghter, of Mayor and Mrs.
James.she, Jr., wore a white
satin gown with a chapel train. She
carried a miniaturebouquet of mixed
flowers.

becca Ryan nieces of the Groom.
An enchanting program of tradi-
tional and contemporary music was
performed by Mrs. Dora Lee Sargent
at the grand piano, Mrs. June Elwell
at the pipe organ, and flautist Mrs.
Kathy Bennett. Soloists was Miss
Stephanie Moshier, with an arrange-
ment of "The Lord's Prayer" per-
formed by the Reverend D. D. El-
well.
The wedding was directed by Mrs.
Betty Jo Basham.
Abuffet reception was held at the
Summers County Visitors Center
following the ceremony.
The bride is a graduate of Radford
University with a B.S. Degree in
Nursing and is employed at Sum-
mers County Hospital. The Groom is
a graduate of Alderson Broaddus
College with a B. S. Degree in educa-
tion and is employed by the Sum-
mers County Board of Education.
After a wedding trip to the Smokies,
they are residing in Hinton.
