Southern District Convention Slated For Pence Springs Hotel Plans and committees for the Southern District convention to be held at Pence Springs Hotel in Sept.: with the Hinton Woman's Club as host were outlined at the Aug. meet- ing of the club. . She has been successful in in- creasing occupancy at her center by being creative with her marketing skills, and with the assistance ofher activities director has been able to fulfill life long wishes of some of her residents who's average age is 85 years and plus. She has assisted them in learning how to scuba dive, become a clown for the circus, wind sail lessons and many other activi- ties which continues to encourage their independence.
