WHAT WE BELIEVE
at Riverview Chapel
SOME POINTS TO PONDER
WHY IS SOUL WINNING SO IMPORTANT?
1. THE COST OF THE SOUL: Mark 8:36: For what shall it profit a
men, if he gain the whole world, and lose his own soul."
2. THE CONCERN OF GOD: Prey. 11 ;30 "He that winneth souls is
wise."
3. THE COMMAND OF CHRIST; Mark 16:15: "And He said unto
them: Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every
creature."
Also in Acts 1:8: ....... "And ye shall be witnesses unto me both in
Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the
uttermost part of the earth."
4.THE EARLY CHURCH'S EXAMPLE: I Cot. 9:16 "For though I
preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid
upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospoll" Paul
also declared in Romans 10:9: "That if thou shalt confess With
thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thy heart that God
hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." Peter
declared in I Pet. 3:15: "But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts:
and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh
you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear."
