SOME POINTS TO PONDER
WILL THERE BE REWARDS IN HEAVEN? Rav. 22.11 states:
"Behold I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every
man according as his work shall be."
NOTE: SALVATION IS NOT A REWARD] Romans 6:23 tells us:
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God Is eternal life
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
2 Corinthians 5:10 Reveals the time of the rewards: "For we
(believers) must ell appear before the Judgment seat of Christ;
that every one may receive the things done in his body, according
to that he hath done, whether good or bed."
I Corinthians 3 tells us how to earn reward.=.
1st You have to build on the rlaht foundation: verse 11; For other
foundation can no man lay than that Is laid, which Is Jesus Christ."
2rid You must build with Perfect materials which verse 1;)
"Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious
stones;" This seems to describe some good things which
Chrlstlans should be Involved in such as Bible Reading, Prayer,
itnesaing. Helping Others and Fellowship with fellow believers.
3rd You must avoid the Door materials that verse 12 deecrl_he__.:
"wood, hay, stubble;' Perhaps this describes our motives for God
and others. These materials are very combustible and will not
last. It may describe selfishness, pride, ¢ovetiousness,
unfdrgivenese Etc. May each of us choose to build with the right
materlalsl
