With a standing ovation,
Shelda Cox, Executive Director for
Summers Nursing & Rehabilitation
Center (N&RC), walked forward to
accept the 2016 AMFM President's
Choice Award.
The AMFM President's Choice
award is the most prestigious
award handed out at the annual
AMFM Service Awards. The event
recognizes AMFM employees and
the accomplishments of all 16
AMFM centers throughout the
West Virginia. This year's event
was hosted at the Glade Springs
Resort.
Cox graduated with honors from
Mountain State University with
a Bachelor of Science in Nursing
degree in 2005.
In addition to her BSN, Cox
has worked as a Certified Nursing
Assistant, Licensed Practical
Nurse, as the Clinical Care
Supervisor and Director of Nursing
for Summers and Fayette Nursing
& Rehabilitation Centers.
Under her leadership, Summers
N&RC received the 2013 National
