Local Company Thanks
HVAC Program for Flood Assistance
Refrigeration Recycling LLC
would like to thank the Southwest
Community College (SWCC)
of Richlands, Virginia for their
technical support following the
devastating flooding in Greenbrier
County. The school's Heating,
Ventilation, and Air Conditioning
(HVAC) technical degree program
provided the company with
critically needed personnel in
support of emergency services for
commercial companies involved in
the food distribution industry.
'~Refrigeration Recycling became
involved with SWCC's HVAC
program as part of their students'
participation in our entrepreneurial
internship program," says Gregg
Wingo of the company, '"their area
of Virginia is very familiar with the
impact of flooding on communities
and the program's director,
Professor Larry Hughes, reached
out to us immediately when he
heard news of the devastation. This
enabled us to more rapidly aid our
grocery and convenience store, and
restaurant clients to reopen and
• maintain delivery of products and
services to their customers and the
residents of Greenbrier County".
'Tie were also very thankful to be
able to provide logistical support
through our warehouse facility for
the Rhema Christian Center's direct
relief activities," states Michael
Monte of Refrigeration Recycling,
"and we strongly encourage others
to contribute however they can
through the Neighbors Loving
Neighbors program on their
website."

the very first day the individual will

development, this program is about
