EcoTheater opened on July 4,
1984 at Pipestem State Park at
the amphitheater with its show
A Double-Threaded Life: The
Hinton Play. This play will be
performed every Wednesday
evening at 8pm in the e.,nph-

August.
Maryat Lee, Director of
EcoTheater has been working
with the company members
since 1982 perfecting and add-
ing new scenes to the group-

for one scene by Sims Wick-

erial from oral history accounts
of events and happenings as
well as from Maryat's own ex-
perience; then they are pres-
ented in scene form and the
company members do improv-
isations to help create or refine
further the dialogue. This sum-
mer each evening 8-10 scenes
will be performed from the
script of 30 scenes. Maryat is
presently writing more scenes
and preparing one especially
