With Brunch
A Bridal Brunch was given
hormring Gina Newsome, bride
elect of Jacob Ronald Shet-
ler, of New York City and
formerly of Forest Hill. The •..
Brunch was given by Mrs. ~:
Bobby Basham, Mrs. Charles
Lowe and Mrs. G. E. Lafen in
the Blue & Gold room at Pipe-
stem State Park.
Guest were registered, by
Mrs. Rob Newsome, from a
table laid with a floor length
melon cloth over laid with
white linen. Complimenting the
table was a tall crystal nut-
ed vase filled with miniature
white carnations tipped in mel-
on and babies breath. The
unique handmade guest book
was shaped like a wedding bell
covered with seed pearls and
white doves. Upon arrival the
honoree was presented with a
corsage by the hostesses.
Covers were laid for the 11:00
A. M. Brunch with a melon
cloth and white linen napkins,
caught up with melon satin
ribbon. The table was centered i
with a white milk glass bowl
filled with a fresh pinapple and
green grapes interspersed with
miniature white carnations ti-
pped in melon. White place
cards highlighed with a single
melon silk flower marked each
place. Written inside of each
card was famous Slu0tatlens
and quips about love ~ marc-.
Sage that was read to Gins at.
_ the end of the brunch. Antique

.... table arrangements.

Summers County Special
Olympics ended its 198-3 - 84
year with a picnic at Pipe-
stem State Park. Twenty - one
athletes and their families
along with six volunteers gath-
ered together on Saturday, July
28th.

The special athletes enjoyed
the tram and miniature golf
course. Afterwards, everyone
participated in a balloon 'toss
and a water cup race.
