OBITUARIES
JACK G. GALLOWAY
Jack G. Galloway, 69, of Carson,
Calif., formerly of Alderson, died Fri.,
July 16,1993,in a Jacksonville, Fla.,
hospital following a short illness.
Born Sept. 30, 1923, at Alderson,
he was the son of Percy Galloway of
Alderson and the late Helen C. Gal-
loway.
Mr. Galloway was a retired postal
employee with 35 years of service
and was a World War II veteran.
He was preceded in death by his
wife, Peggy Galloway; a sister, Clara
Galloway and three brothers, Bobby,
Percy Jr. and Lloyd Galloway.
Survivors include a daughter,
Francine Galloway of Carson; five
brothers, ReD. Billy Galloway of
Hinton, Joseph Galloway of Pitts-
burgh, Pa., Richard Galloway of San
Antonio, Tx., Donald Galloway of
Seattle, Wash., and Allen Galloway
of St. Paul, Minn., and a sister,
Barbara Gravett of Roiling Hills,
Calif.
Services were held at 1 p.m. Sat.
July 24 at Forest Lawn Memorial
Park, Cypress, Calif.

Mrs. Memphis Noble, 91, of 211
Mulberry Ave., Beckley, died Fri.,
July 23,1993, at her home following
a long illness.

continue her studies of the Japanese

the W. Va. State Fair. Seniors wish-
ing to go, need to sign up early due to
limited seating.
Buses will leave Hinon Center at
9:00 AM and return at approximately
4:00 PM.
Aug. 21 . .. A trip is planned to
Cass, to ride the train. Buses will
leave Hinton Center at 7:30 AM and
return approximately 9:00 PM. Train
ride cost is $12.50 and must be paid
in advance by Aug. 13th. Lunch will
be provided.
