: CONSULTING FIRMS
. The City of Hinton is in the process of obtaining
- qualifications from consultants interested in providing
a market analysis of downtown Hinton, including data,
in market analysis, and identification of retail businesses
that can be recruited or developed for the downtown
district. The project area is in Summers County, West
Virginia. The project outcome is one completed
downtown market analysis.
The selected consultant will work closely with the
City of Hinton, Region 1 Planning and Development
Council and other project team members as deemed
necessary. Procurement of said services shall be in
,_ accordance with 24 CFR Part 85 and West Virginia
~ Code Chapter 5G. All consultants interested in being
considered for this project must submit information
'f detailing qualifications, technical' expertise,
,_ management and staffing capabilities and related
s prior experience.
‘ The object of the competitive process is to
objectively select the firm who will provide the highest
f quality of service. Accordingly technical qualifications
.. and experience will be weighed heavily. Selected
‘ respondents will be interviewed and the firm judged
most qualified will be selected.

NOTICE OF EVIDENTIARY HEARING I
On October 23, 2015,Appalachian Power Company
and Wheeling Power Company both operating as
American Electric Power (Companies), filed with the '
Public Service Commission of West Virginia a tariff
containing terms and conditions for furnishing electric
service to approximately 473,331 customers in cities,
towns, villages, unincorporated municipalities, and
rural areas in their service territories in the counties
of Boone, Brooke, Cabell, Clay, Fayette, Greenbrier,
Jackson, Kanawha, Lincoln, Logan, Marshall, Mason,
McDowell, Mercer, Mingo, Monroe, Nicholas, Ohio,
Putnam, Raleigh, Roane. Summers, Wayne, and
Wyoming.
The Commission suspended the tariffs to permit
a full examination of the proposed tariff changes
consisting of two new riders for demand response
service, Rider D.R.S.—RTO Capacity and Rider D.R.S. ’
and a new Standard Backup and Maintenance Service
Schedule, Schedule 8.3.8.
The Commission will hold the evidentiary hearing _
in this matter on August 2, 2016, at 9:30 a.m., in the
Howard M. Cunningham Hearing Room, Public
Service Commission Building, 201 Brooks Street,
Charleston, West Virginia, and continuing as ‘
necessdr thereafter.

impacted by flooding to be aware of
the effects of exposure to mold
during the clean up process
"After flooding, water can cause
the growth of mold In homes and
buildings," sald Dr. Rahul Gupta,
State Health Officer and
Commissloner of the Bureau for
Public Health. "When entering a
home that has been flooded, be
aware that mold maV be present
and can pose a health rlsk for you
and your hmily. If you have a chronic
lung conditlon like asthma or a
weakened Immune system, you
could develop mold infectlons In
your lungs, and vou should. try to
avoid buildings contaminated with
mold."
Signs of indoor mold growth
Include staining on surfaces, a
musty odor, dark spots on or around
vents, water stains and peeling or

curling of vinyl floors or wallpaper.
Common reactions to mold are
cough, congestion, runny nose,
burning eyes, headaches, sneezing
and sore throat Children, pregnant
women, older people and people wlth
weakened Immune systems may be
more sensitive to mold than others.

buliding for a while or you plan to
clean up mold, you should take
appropriate preventive measures to
protect your health while In the
building," said Gupta. "If you or your
