ON-LINE GAMES at Riverview Chapel SOME POINTS TO PONDER: WHAT ABOUT JUSTIFICATION? In Romans 5:1 we read: "Therefor being Juatifled by faith we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Chrlat." There are three very Important words here: Justification, Faith, Peace. Let us Consider: JUSTIFICATION: This could be accurately translated: "Oeciared Righteous" Rom. 3:24 says: "Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is In Christ Jesus." FAITH: LET US NOT THREE THINGS ABOUT FAITH: WHAT FAITH IS: Faith is not superstition or Imagination or anything like that. True Faith is composed of 3 things: Knowledge, Assent or Belief, and Trust. This was Illustrated by the woman In MARK 5:25-29 who had the Issue of blood. She touched Chrlat's garment and was healed. HOW FAITH IS ACQUIRED: Rom. 1():17 says: So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God." We exerclee faith every day In our driving down the highway Etc. THE OBJECT OF FAITH; A weak faith In a good medicine Is better than a strong faith in a poor medicine. Or to put It in another way, it is safer to have weak faith on strong ice than to have strong faith on weak iue. It is the object of faith that matters. PEACE." Peace means the absence of war or enmity: Col 1:21 says: "And you that were sometime alienated and enemies In your mind by wicked works, yet now hath ha reconciled." A very nice poem goes: "1 hear the words of love, I gaze upon the blood; I see the mighty sacrifice, And I have peace with God. "rle evedasting peace, Sure as Jehovah's Name: '1"is stable as His steadfast throne, For evermore the same." , RIVERVIEW CHAPEL: Corner of 16th and Temple, Hinton, W. VA.
