GAYE BASHAM
Gaye Lilly Basham, 91, of Ellison
passed away Sunday July 3, 2016 at
the Serenity
Place in Lerona, WV following a
long illness.
Born December 12, 1924 at
Ellison, she was a daughter of the
late Paul W. and Nancy E. Oakes
Lilly. Gaye was a member of the
Ellison Missionary Baptist Church,
a homemaker and lifelong resident
of Ellison.
She was preceded in death by her
husband George Basham; six
brothers, Ollie, Don, Lester,
Earnest, Rovey, and Dempsey Lilly;
five stepsons, George Jr., John,
Teddy, Charles and James; three
step daughters, Clara, Virginia and
Enola.
Those left to cherish her memory
include her two sons, Harold Lilly
and wife Jane of McDermitt, OH and
Darrell Lilly and wife Mildred of
Nimitz; one daughter, Loretta Cox
and husband Ibra of Jumping
Branch; one step son, Bob Basham
and wife Mary of OH; step daughter

Charles Jesse Redden, 79 of

RESCHEDULED
As you know, Willow Wood
Country Club had to closed during
the flooding and Friends of the
Library cancel the Golf Tournament.
The Tournament is now rescheduled
for Sunday, July 17th. This is a
support the Bookmobile that
continues to make regular runs to
all parts of Summers County,
including schools. We are also saving
up for the future purchase of a~ new
Bookmobile.
We hope you can join us on the
17th, at Willow Wood Country Club.
