REUNION :The Annual Irish Mountain Reunion will be held Sunday, July 20, 2003, at the old Jimmie Rookstoors Farm on Irish Mountain. Come enjoy in the gathering. ;PREPARED CHILD BIRTH CLASSES The REACHH-MIHOW Program is offering child birth classes for women who are at least 28 weeks pregnant. Classes will begin Tuesday, July I and be held one time weekly for six weeks. The time will be 6:00 PM. There is no charge for the classes and the instructor will be Jennifer Pack, PAC. Classes will be held at the Family Resource Center, 411 Temple Street, Hinton. Participants must be pre- registered. For more information call 466-2226. WV WATER FESTIVAL QUILT SHOW The WV Water Festival Quilt Show registration will be Wednesday, July 31st. 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The quilts will be judged and hung Wednesday afternoon. The fee will be $2.00 per quilt. Registration forms may be picked up at the WVU Extension Office, Court House Addn., 466-7113. For more information call Erma Meadows, 466-3907. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED/ The West Virginia Water Festival Board of Directors is seeking Reenactment Volunteers (period 1750-1870) to man a frontier encampment and bateau boat during the 2003 WV State Water Festival in Hinton, WV. There will be an 11 and 12 year old team, and an 8, 9 and 10 year old team. Age requirements are that you must still be 12 on September lst., or at least 8 on September 1st. Kids registration must have a birth certificate and a $25 sign-up fee. Practice will begin in late July. For more information call Jack Scott at 466-1616. WOMEN AGLOW Women Aglow will hold .their monthly meeting on June 27th., 6:30 p.m. at the Wellness Center on 221 Temple St., Hinton. This month's meeting is dedicated to our membership drive. VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL Vacation Bible School will be held July 7th. through llth., 6:00 till 8:00 p.m. at the Pence Springs Community Church (located on Rt. 3 beside the Pence Springs Hotel). Come help please! COMMUNITY AIR AND SHARE SESSION Summers County Head Start Policy Council will offer its Community Air and Share session at the beginning of the Policy Council meeting on July 8th. The public is welcome to attend, air concerns and voice public comments at 6:00 p.m. on this date at the Head Start location of 254 Main St., Hinton. We welcome everyone to attend! JOHN HENRY DAYS QUILT SHOW A quilt s]ow is being planned by the John Henry Days Committee. This show may or may not be judged, depending on our participation.
