Wedding Planned
Wedding plans have been
completed by Miss Susan Ruth
Smith and Mr. William James
Bradberry. Miss Smith is the
daughter of Mrs. Mary M.
Smith of Huntington, WV and
Lt. Col George O. Smith, USA,
Pet. of Centerville, OH. Mr.
Bradberry is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Jack Bradberry of Hinton.
The August 18 wedding will
take place at the J.O. Ball
Farm, Hinton,home of the
groom's maternal grand-
mother. The Rev. Wayne Cham-
bets d Bellepoint Baptist
Church will officiate.
Miss Smith is a graduate of
Marshall University and is cur-
rently employed as a specie7
educaiton teacher by Putnam
County Schools. Mr. Bradberr3
is a graduate of Marshall Un
ivetsity and is currently emp-
loyed as the chief accountant
for Goodwill Industries of Ky-
owva, Inc. The couple will
reside in Huntington after their
marriage.

Sheila Lynne Lively of Hen-
ton has been accepted at Aid-
erson- Broaddus College in Phil-
ippi, West Virginia. She will be
majoring in Accounting beginn-
ing in September.
Ms. Lively is a graduate of the
Hinton High School where she
served as a member in the Latin
Club, Yearbook staff, Jr. Folly
ies, Choir, Band, Higher Math
Club, and received the Year-
book Award.
Sheila is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Albert S. Lively of 1015
Temple St.
Mrs Helen Forron and her
mother, Mrs. Arnold Buckland
both of Big Creek recently
visited mrs. Forron's son and
family in Atlanta, Georgia, Mr.
Billy Ray Forron. Mrs. Forron
and Mrs. Buckland traveled by
plane from Beckley.

son observed their 50th, wedd-
ing, May 26th at their home in
Brooks, W. Va.
The couple were married May
4th 1929 in Hinton, W.V. in a
ceremony performed by the
Rev. H.P. Hackney.
They are the parents of nine
living children: Mrs. Barbara
Cales of Chinco, California;
Mrs. Nancy Neely of Hinton,
W.V.; Mrs. Maxine Payne of
Millboro, Virginia; Jerry John-
son of Buchannon, WV; Curtis
Johnson of Newtonfalls, Ohio;
Mrs. Annabelle Bennett of
Callahan, Virginia; Mrs. Mary
Tucker of Westerville, Ohio;
Mrs. Dorothy Tucker of Col-
umbus, Ohio; Mrs. Linda Pack
of Hopewell, Virignia. All were
home for the occasion.
A son, Edward Johnson was
preceded in death June 26, 1966.
Little Susie Carol Meadows is
observing her 2nd birthday ann-
iversary today, June 1st. She is '
the daughter of Junior and
Carol Meadows of New River
Road near Hinton. She plans to
visit her "Ma mR" and "pa Pa"
on her birthday, Mr. and Mrs.
Daniel Gill of Tug Creek Me.
Jamle Lee Erskine celebrated
his second birthday annivers-
ary today, June 7. He is the son
of Betty and Roger Erskine of
Cantley's Trailer Park between
Pence Springs and Alderson.

and Mrs. Nancy Erskine and
the late William Erskine of
Hinton.

mailed to the Summers County Council on Aging
at Box No. 776, Hinton, WV or called in to 466-
4019. All questions are confidential.

• .A. Yes, we have a complete directory at the
Senior Center which includes all hospitals,
Personal Care Homes, Nursing Homes, Mental
health Centers, Home Haalth Services, Senior
centers and Nutrition Programs in the state, the
directory includes the most basic information
about these facilities.
The directory, "Health Care for Older West
Virginians", is available for anyone to use but
should be used as a supllement to personal
knowledge and personal investigation of the
facility. It is helpful as a starting point in the
search for the right kind of health care at the
right cost in a convenient location.,
..Q. ,Will the Senior Citizens Progam be
providing transportation to the new Shopping
Center?
..A. Beginning in June, the Senior Program
Outreach Workers will be available on Monday
afternoons to take Seniors shopping and bring
them home. they will be leaving from the Hinton
Center after lunch at approximately 12:45 p.m.
Anyone in Hinton who cannot come the Center
may call 466- 4019 before 12 o'clock noon Monday
and arrangements will be made to pick them up.
If the demand is too great, other arrangements
will be made.
:.eniors may do their shopping at any one
location each week and will be picked up there
when tnnnshea ana taken home. I or instance,
someone from the west end could be brought,
downtown or to the Foodland or to the Shopping
Center each week. We will not be able to carry
individuals from place to place.

Stephanie and Ralph have been learning the
funcitons of banking through a work study
program provided by the Summers County
Vocational Center and The First Naitonal Bank.
The savings bonds were presented to them in
appreciaiton of their help the past few weeks.
