Miss Ethel Lucinda Tincher, 69,
, : died Sat. June 2, in a Fairlea hospi-
tal, following a long illness.
. ~ Born Jan. 23, 1921, in Summers
~:' ' : County, she was the daughterofthe
~,~ late Howard and Dove Littlepage
• : Tincher.
Miss Tincher had been a resident
of White Sulphur Springs Continu-
ousCare Center for several months,
Was formerly of Whitesville and was
of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by
~' three brothers, Sam, Tom and Jess
"Tincher; two sisters, Minnie Tincher
and Dolly Cohenour and a special
friend, Leslie McGee in 1989.
Survivors include two daughters,
Rosie Alderson of Alderson and
Kathie Reed of White Sulphur
Springs; a sister, Lucy Wenger of
,%.~ :~Iderson; a brother, Clovie Tincher
..~i< ofA]derson; five grandchildren, and
four great-grandchildren.
~ Services will be Tues. at 2 p.m. at
~ the LobbanFuneral Home in Alder-
~. son with the Rev. Mark Farren offi-

Born Nov. 20, 1918, at Sandetone,
~ he was the son of the late Robert R.
~ and Estella Bragg Ward.

~; life at Brooks, was a timberman, a

: member of the Brooks Baptlst
