urch Ladies held their Mother-
Daughter Banquet at the church
with 30 Ladies in attendance.
The •program was opened by
Miss Nesta Wickline, president
of the Woman Missionary
Group, welcoming each Mother
and Daughter present along
with their guests.
Each person was asked to
introduce themselves by telling
their full name. The banquet
group joined them in singing
"My Mothers Bible" accomp-
anied by Mrs. Peggy Compton.
Mrs. Annie Mae Craig led the
group in a devotional, reading
Psalm , followed by prayer by
Mrs. Danny Meadows.
A Mother & Daughter com-
bination of Mrs. Darlene Gaut-
ier and girls, Sheri, Lisa, and
Cindy sang "My Mothers Pray-
er" accompanied at the piano
by Michelle Dunn.
A reading "A Mothers Shin-
ning Candies" was demonstrat-
ed by Mrs. Ruth Davis, with the
lightning of the Candles of
Courage, Patience, and Faith in
God, showing how a Mother
lights each of these in the lives
of her chidren followed by a
group of the ladies singing a
song, followed with the pre-
sentation of red petunies pre-
sented to Drema Eaton, the
youngest Mother present and to
Ella Jane Clemens, oldest
Mother present.
A sharing time was given to
each mother present to tell of an
answered prayer• Mrs. Wanda
Rorrer and daughter, April,
sang "What a Friend We Have
In Mother," accompanied by
daughter Sheila.
Mrs. Ruth Phillips introduced
the speaker, Mrs. Harry Gen-
try. Mrs. Gentry gave an ob-
ject lesson talk about a Young
Mother and an Older Mother. At
the conclusion of the program
the group joined hands and sang
"Blest Be The Tie That Binds
MISSION RETURNS
A White House mission to
Indochina to hold tail's on
Americans still missing in
action returned on Mar. 20,
1977, optimistic about build-
ing better relations in the
future.

Circle Holds Meeting
The Ann Judson Circle of the
Peterstown Baptist Church met
on Thursday evening with host-
ess Mrs. Vickie Rice.
Mrs. Connie Weiss called the
meeting to order and presented
the devotions.
During the business session
discussion of the church news-
letter, ABW Conference to be
held on June 19- 22 at Ald-
erson- Broaddus State College,
Children's Day at the church
June 10 ,and the Conference's
assessment to be taken 'June 10-
17.
The Love Gift offering was
taken following a dedication by
Mrs. Norma Johnson.
A Mother's Day program was
given by Mrs. Vickie Rice. Mrs.
Rice then presented, "Library
Promises" by Helen Steiner
Rice to the church to be placed
in the library.
Refreshments were served to
Mrs. Connie Weiss, Mrs. Vera
Mann, Mrs. Norton Johnson,
Mrs. Connie Robertson and
Mrs. Donetta Brown.

ed by Mrs. Ruth Davis, with the
lightning of the Candles of
Courage, Patience, and Faith in
God, showing how a Mother
lights each of these in the lives
of her chidren followed by a
group of the ladies singing a
song, followed with the pre-
sentation of red petunies pre-
sented to Drema Eaton, the
youngest Mother present and to
Ella Jane Clemens, oldest
Mother present.
A sharing time was given to
each mother present to tell of an
answered prayer• Mrs. Wanda
Rorrer and daughter, April,
sang "What a Friend We Have
In Mother," accompanied by
daughter Sheila.
Mrs. Ruth Phillips introduced
the speaker, Mrs. Harry Gen-
try. Mrs. Gentry gave an ob-
ject lesson talk about a Young
Mother and an Older Mother. At
the conclusion of the program
the group joined hands and sang
"Blest Be The Tie That Binds

held on June 19- 22 at Ald-
erson- Broaddus State College,
Children's Day at the church
June 10 ,and the Conference's
assessment to be taken 'June 10-
17.
The Love Gift offering was
taken following a dedication by
Mrs. Norma Johnson.
A Mother's Day program was
given by Mrs. Vickie Rice. Mrs.
Rice then presented, "Library
Promises" by Helen Steiner
Rice to the church to be placed
in the library.
