Kitchen- BUTTER MILK PIE-
One and ½ cups sugar, 3 eggs
slightly beaten, 1 teaspoon self -
rising flour or use plain flour
and add 1 pinch of baking soda
and 1 pinch of baking powder. 1
teaspoon vanilla, 1/2 stick if
butter or margarine, 1/2 cup
butter milk. Mix ingredients
add l/a package of l/a can of
angle fake coconut, poor in
unbaked pie shell and bake 45
minutes in a 350 degree oven.
Triple recipe for 2 large pies.

Holds May Meeting
The Hinton Woman's Club
met May 14th in the Memorial
Building. Mrs. John Cobb was
Chairman of the day. She open-
ed the meeting with the quot-
ation of the Month from the
Year Book. Followed by Pled-
ge of Allegiance Club Collect
and Pledge. She then introd-
uced Mrs. Roy Meador who
gave the Prologge of the skit" A
DAY WITH DOLLY MADISON
" written by Mrs. Meador.

cord card folded to fit easily in
your wallet. For your copy of X-
Ray and Vaccination Record
Card, write Consumer Inform-
ation Center, Dept. 651G,
Pueblo, Colorado 81009.
Because you may have x-rays
in a variety of places-- the
doctor's office, a clinic, a hos-
pital- your doctor may order an
x-ray unaware you have had a
similar exam elsewhere. By
keeping a record, you may be
able to avoid needless x-ray
exposure and unnecessary
costs. And even if a new exam is
needed, the earlier x-ray films
may help in diagnosis of your
condition.
Remember don't decide on
your own that you need an x-
ray, and don't insist on an x-
ray
If your doctor orders an x-
ray, ask how it will help with the
diagnosis.
Tell your doctor about any
similar x- ray examination you
have had.
Ask if gonad ( sexual organs )

yourself and for your children;

the program recipe books were
given to each member contain-
ing recipes served at the White
House by Mrs. Madison.
Following the program a
short business meeting was
called by the President, Mrs.
Robert Thompson. Mrs. Thomp-
son announced the June Meet-
ing would be open meeting to be
held at the Central Baptist
Church. Each member to invite
one guest. The Program will be
a Musical "MUSIC MAKES A
LIGHT HEART." Presented by
Mrs. David R. Martin and Mrs.
Gary Brown. Miss Dorothy
Jean Boley will be chairman of
the day with Miss Jane Hum-
phries as Hostess Chairman.
Following the business meet-
ing deliciousrefreshments were
served by Mrs. P.B. Gooch
Hostess Chairman and her com-
mittee. The Tea Table was
decorated by Mrs. Gooch. She
used a yellow cloth tied with
yellow bows and Spring flowers
as the center piece. Mrs. Thom-

We've all read and heard
enough about x-rays to know
that while they're valuable as a
diagnositc too! they can also
present risks to health. So, it's
important to avoid unnecessary
x-ray exams. •
To give you some tips on how
to avoid excess x-rays and to
help you keep track of the ones
you do have, the Food and Drug
Administration has a free re-
cord card folded to fit easily in
your wallet. For your copy of X-
Ray and Vaccination Record
Card, write Consumer Inform-
ation Center, Dept. 651G,
Pueblo, Colorado 81009.
Because you may have x-rays
in a variety of places-- the
doctor's office, a clinic, a hos-
pital- your doctor may order an
x-ray unaware you have had a
similar exam elsewhere. By
keeping a record, you may be
able to avoid needless x-ray
exposure and unnecessary
costs. And even if a new exam is
needed, the earlier x-ray films
may help in diagnosis of your
condition.
Remember don't decide on
your own that you need an x-
ray, and don't insist on an x-
ray
If your doctor orders an x-
ray, ask how it will help with the
diagnosis.
Tell your doctor about any
similar x- ray examination you
have had.
Ask if gonad ( sexual organs )
shielding can be used- for
yourself and for your children;
And if you think you're preg-
nant tell your doctor before
having an x-ray examination, i

Madison served as our Presid-
ent. Miss Boley andwrs. Bash-
am looked lovely dressed in the
fashions of that period. After
the program recipe books were
given to each member contain-
ing recipes served at the White
House by Mrs. Madison.
Following the program a
short business meeting was
called by the President, Mrs.
Robert Thompson. Mrs. Thomp-
son announced the June Meet-
ing would be open meeting to be
held at the Central Baptist
Church. Each member to invite
one guest. The Program will be
a Musical "MUSIC MAKES A
LIGHT HEART." Presented by
Mrs. David R. Martin and Mrs.
Gary Brown. Miss Dorothy
Jean Boley will be chairman of
the day with Miss Jane Hum-
phries as Hostess Chairman.
Following the business meet-
ing deliciousrefreshments were
served by Mrs. P.B. Gooch
Hostess Chairman and her com-
mittee. The Tea Table was
decorated by Mrs. Gooch. She
used a yellow cloth tied with
yellow bows and Spring flowers
as the center piece. Mrs. Thom-
vson Pres. served the Punch
