NONSENSE like the an- swers that the Hospital Board is not giving to the questions that have been requested? The difference being the NONSENSE is silly, but which is which? Couldit be that the Hospital Board was informed when the Fire Marshall cited the Hospital concern- ing the sprinkler system violation Months ago? What was the reasoning behind The Board waiting until the Elev- enth hour to cry out for a citizen monetary rescue to pay for the sprin- kler system? Could it be that if the sprinkler had been installed months ago, it would have been cheaper ( cost of living index(? Could it be that if the sprinkler system had been installed under HCA management, it would have adversely effected their share of the booty? If the Hospital roof was leaking, how many months would it take for the Board to figure out that repairs or renewal was indicated? The by-laws concerning The Board of Trustees of The Summers County Hospital dictates that all recommen- dations for new or replacement Board members appointed, are to be sub- mitted in writing to the Summers County Commission for considera- tion. With this I have some diffi- culty, since the Hospital Board has two (2) Commissioners seated pres- ently. Does this give new meaning to the song "I Did It My Way"?. I personally have no problem with one Commissioner on the Hospital Board but I believe two is excessive. Since it only takes two Commission- ers at a Commission meeting to be a majority and approve or deny a per- spective member or appointee to the Summers County Hospital Board of Trustees. DO ITWHO's WAY?. With the Hospital Board, QUO- RUM being five ie. least legal num- ber without conflict of interest re- quired to transact Hospital Board business, three is majority. So then the two Commissioners have only to persuade one other Board member. WHO'S WAY? Yes I have asked many questions and have received no answers to date, but I have had my parentage questioned anonymously. I have been told to not rock the boat, stop making waves, but more often to shut my big mouth and mind my own business, by phone and anonymously. This is my business, to be more accurate the Summers County Hospital is our business. If you do not have the answers to the questions that have been asked of the Hospital Board and are a tax paying citizen of Summers County, then where is your voice, your re- quest for answers? A MUSHROOM IS KEPT IN THE DARK AND FED MANURE We the citizens of Summers County are kept in the dark and fed nothing by the powers that are in control, ( tell us nothing), Does this qualify us as being half of a mushroom?
