ABOUT YOUR SOCIAL
ECURITY
IF YOU WORK AFTER YOU RETIRE
By Tom Rubin
Social Security Manager in Beckley, WV
If you are approaching retirement, you are probably looking
forward to a well-earned reward after years of hard work. Yet, you
enjoy working and do not want to stop entirely. You may ask, "If
I take a part-time job or run a small business, can I still get Social
Security retirement checks?"

ObserVe Upper 1 om Meal
The First United Methodist
Church of Hinton observed the
=Upper Room Meal" on Maudy
Thursday. The beauty of this service
is the simplicity and silence.
The congregation was ushered to
the sanctuary in silence at 7:20 p.m.
The service was opened with organ
meditation by Mrs. Ann Gore and
the call to worship by the choir.
Mrs. Genny Bigony gave the pro-
cedure "concerning the feast" and
participation in the =meals. Mrs.
Rev. Dotson gave theinvitation to
the Lords table and communion was
observed.
The congregation left the =Upper
Room~ in silence two by two repre-
senting the 70 disciples sent out by
Jesus. Each individual left with a
special blessing by participating in
this worship service.
