Regarding Our Mayor And Staff 7 Mr. Chief Snavely does not earn $60,000 annually. if everyone has to know its $46,652. A '7. :former State Trooper that has enormous skills and is always around and talks to us thus learning who is and isn't trouble. He is everywhere as we can all see. He's polite and ;;;professional. ' ;_None of his officers are racing down Temple. Do we all remember 10 yrs. ago 60 mph at ‘5 i‘least? Now about Mayor Joe Blankenship, he has and is doing more than anyone in the 15 .yrs. I have been here with the assistance of Chris Meadows. ' i; ::No one is perfect and God knows we all have our faults. Reminds me of Bill Clinton, I really idon't care about his personal life. Law enforcement probably feels the same way. if we all do the best We can Chris and Joe will always push us to help our town. :4And l have done just that with the help of Donald and Pat Meador. I think I got the ball rolling '{by renovating 70+ homes and have since sold most of them to great families. I have some frentals still and enjoy the great folks that struggle to make ends meet that still rent from me. life has finallycome to, Hintonthreughfheefforts. 0f MayorBlankenship. Chris Meadows ii‘flr! L a .u A {*aflndtheireicellentystaff. V The Streets are clean and marked, those ugly meters were removed, buildings are being painted and rented. Such as Otter and Oak,The upscale restaurant The Market, and soon Rivertown. Mayor Blankenship and Chris Meadows, I clearly believe are on a roll. Let them “do their thing and fully restore what's left of Hinton. : Why don't we all go to council meetings and see the problems they deal with and then and only then we might not complain so much. instead perhaps we would be supporting their 'éefforts and not doing anything to help our town ourselves. "And one more thing, lhave offered to paint and possibly renovate the buildings that need izifixed up on Temple and wow, wow and wow Joe and Chris are behind the idea and are [willing to help with getting permission from the owners. Everyone is on the same page with gj‘lrestoration of the town. Special thanks to Mary Lou Hailey, Jim and Debbie Clark, Melvin «Plumley, Rick Moorefield, Ted and Cheryl, and David and Anna Ziegler. There are so many that help you may not realize through Kiwanis, Lions, and Rotary, Ted ; ,ogers, Sandy with 4-H, Deloris and Bill Hopkins and Stacey Ford. I apologize for not ' nowing all of the names as there are so many. Ted with the Rotary Club, Dr. Richmond, §NSkip, Bill, Robert lrons, as well as Chris Meadows and Mayor Blankenship. I could go on and on because there are so many that care about this town spending time and money including myself "Andrew". ‘ Donald Meador has restored many homes in bad condition that would have been to r n down. He and his wife Pat ran the Ritz for 20+ yrs. and I also kept it running and repaired the roof. Ron Tolbert also ran it for 8 yrs. 80 many great deeds that we don't hear or know about Thank You All! ! Most of us do What we do only to help our town and not for self gainll JUST SOMETHING To THINK ABOUT. iAndrew 2 ‘ 1 ‘
