Cemetery Book
Summers County Historical Soci.
ety is preparing a book of cemetery
listings including the names and
location of the individual graves in
the cemeteries.
There are so many small family
cemeteries throughout the county
that it wouldhe almost impossible to
include them all, so in order to in-
clude all of them the necessary list-
ing forms may be obtained at the
Visitor Center or the Summers
County Library.
If you know of a cemetery you
want listed in the book please obtain
the form and fill them out. They are
quite simple and self explanatory.
This book will fill a big void in
genealogy research in the area and
help answer a lot of questions for
people researching family history. If
you have any questions concerning
this matter, please call John E. Lilly,
President Summers County Histori-
cal Society, at 466-0193.
