NOTICE is hereby given that COLUMBIA GAS OF WEST
VIRGINIA, INC., a public utility, has filed with the PUBLIC
SERVICE COMMISSION OF WEST VIRGINIA, revised tariff
sheets containing increased rates, tolls and charges for
furnishing gas service to residential, commercial, industrial and
intrastate utility customers at all locations in the Counties of
Barbour, Braxton, Brooke, Doddridge, Grant, Hancock, Harri-
son, Lewis, Marion, Marshall, Mineral, Monongalia, Ohio,
Preston, Randolph, Ritchie, Tucker, Upshur, Wetzel, Boone,
Cabeli, Calhoun, Clay, Gilmer, Greenbrier, Jackson, Kanawha,
Lincoln, Logan, Mason, Mercer, Mingo, Monroe, Putnam,
Raleigh, Round, Summers, Wayne, Wood, and Wyoming.
The proposed increased rates and charges will become
effective April 30, 1979, unless otherwise ordered by the Public
Service Commission and will produce apprmdmately $13, 613,
000.00 exclusive of municipal B & O taxes annually in additional
revenue, an increase of 8.4 per cent. The average monthly bill for
the various classes of customers will be changed as follows:

wedding vows March 17th at
2:00 p.m. at the Laurel Creek
Baptist Church at Sandstone.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ward of
Sandstone and the groom's par-
ents are Mr. and Mrs. Joseph
Bragg of Greenville.
The double ring ceremony
was performed by the Roy. J.E.
Johnson. Miss Linda Burdette
ws organist for the event. She
presented the audience with" If,
Evergreen, "Time for Us" and
the traditional wedding march.
The church was decorated
with two baskets of flowers with
an arrangement of yellow chir-
santhants lavnder mums and
orange glads with baby's
breaths. The family pews were
marked by white satin bows.
Given in marriage by her
brother- in-law Jerry Simms,
the bride wore a formal gown of
white silk organza fashioned
with long sleeves square neck-
line with a full shirt over-
layed with sheer chiffion. Her
veil was of chiffon attacked to a
crown headpiece. She carried a
bouquet of yellow chirsanthants
lavnder and orange mums with
baby's breath with ribbon tied
in love knots.
Miss Tummy Ward, sister of
the bride served as matron of
honor and bridesmaids were
Mrs. Rebecca Ward and Miss
Sandy Plumley. Flower girl
was Miss Carrie Caius.
New Pastor

soft." Along with Spring flow-
ers, longer days, budding trees
and baseball, Spring comes to
Hinton a new family and to
Central Baptist Church a new
pastor.
The Williams family comes to
Hinton from Oceana, West Vir-
ginia where Roy. Williams has
been pastor of Toneda Bapt-
ist Church.
erston Elementary School as an
eighth grade student. She has
been a cheer leader for the past
three years and recently was
head cher leader for the Kop-•
perston Mustangs.
Karen is a seventh grade
student also from Kopperston
• Elementary, where she has
been a cheer leader for the
Mustangs for three years.
Kenneth will graduate from
Oceana High School this June.
The attendants wore floor-
length gowns of swiss dots of
rainbow colors and white flop
hats. Each carried a long stem-
med mum to match her dress.
The flower girl dropped mum
pedals. The bride and her att-
endants dresses were made by
the brides mother.
Mr. Bobby Ayers served as
best man. Ushers were Dean
Bragg, and David Waddell.
Ring bearer was Jeff Waddell.
The bride's mother wore a
floor length gown of green and
white with chiffon sleeves with
a white carnaiton corsage. The
groom's mother wore a floor
length gown of pink and white
with chiffon sleeves and a white
carnaiton corsage.
The reception was held at the
Youth Building. The brides
three tiered heart shaped wedd-
ing cake vas made by her
brother- in- law Mark Ward.
Reception aides were Shirley
Bragg, Ann Cales and Carline
Foster.
The bride choose a three piece
pants suit and a corsage of
yellow chirsanthants lifted from
her bridal bouquet for a wed-
ding trip ti Virginia.
The bride is a 1978 graduate of
Hinton High School and is now
employed by National Record
Mart in Beckley.
The groom is a 1977 graduate
of Union High School and is now
employed by R.H. Bouligny
electrical contracters of Char-
lotte, N.C.
The couple will make their
home at Shady Springs•

Dennis Lee Bragg exchanged
wedding vows March 17th at
2:00 p.m. at the Laurel Creek
Baptist Church at Sandstone.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ward of
Sandstone and the groom's par-
ents are Mr. and Mrs. Joseph
Bragg of Greenville.
The double ring ceremony
was performed by the Roy. J.E.
Johnson. Miss Linda Burdette
ws organist for the event. She
presented the audience with" If,
Evergreen, "Time for Us" and
the traditional wedding march.
The church was decorated
with two baskets of flowers with
an arrangement of yellow chir-
santhants lavnder mums and
orange glads with baby's
breaths. The family pews were
marked by white satin bows.
Given in marriage by her
brother- in-law Jerry Simms,
the bride wore a formal gown of
white silk organza fashioned
with long sleeves square neck-
line with a full shirt over-
layed with sheer chiffion. Her
veil was of chiffon attacked to a
crown headpiece. She carried a
bouquet of yellow chirsanthants
lavnder and orange mums with
baby's breath with ribbon tied
in love knots.
Miss Tummy Ward, sister of
the bride served as matron of
honor and bridesmaids were
Mrs. Rebecca Ward and Miss
Sandy Plumley. Flower girl
was Miss Carrie Caius.

soft." Along with Spring flow-
ers, longer days, budding trees
and baseball, Spring comes to
Hinton a new family and to
Central Baptist Church a new
pastor.
The Williams family comes to
Hinton from Oceana, West Vir-
ginia where Roy. Williams has
been pastor of Toneda Bapt-
ist Church.
erston Elementary School as an
eighth grade student. She has
been a cheer leader for the past
three years and recently was
head cher leader for the Kop-•
perston Mustangs.
Karen is a seventh grade
student also from Kopperston
• Elementary, where she has
been a cheer leader for the
Mustangs for three years.
Kenneth will graduate from
Oceana High School this June.
The attendants wore floor-
length gowns of swiss dots of
rainbow colors and white flop
hats. Each carried a long stem-
med mum to match her dress.
The flower girl dropped mum
pedals. The bride and her att-
endants dresses were made by
the brides mother.
Mr. Bobby Ayers served as
best man. Ushers were Dean
Bragg, and David Waddell.
Ring bearer was Jeff Waddell.
The bride's mother wore a
floor length gown of green and
white with chiffon sleeves with
a white carnaiton corsage. The
groom's mother wore a floor
length gown of pink and white
with chiffon sleeves and a white
carnaiton corsage.
The reception was held at the
Youth Building. The brides
three tiered heart shaped wedd-
ing cake vas made by her
brother- in- law Mark Ward.
Reception aides were Shirley
Bragg, Ann Cales and Carline
Foster.
The bride choose a three piece
pants suit and a corsage of
yellow chirsanthants lifted from
her bridal bouquet for a wed-
ding trip ti Virginia.
The bride is a 1978 graduate of
Hinton High School and is now
employed by National Record
Mart in Beckley.
The groom is a 1977 graduate
of Union High School and is now
employed by R.H. Bouligny
electrical contracters of Char-
lotte, N.C.
The couple will make their
home at Shady Springs•
