SPAGHETTI DINNER
The Hilldale-Talcott Ruritan Club
is having a Spaghetti Dinner Fri.
Apr. 5th from 5:00 to 7:00 at the Mt.
Pisgah Methodist Church.
The menu will be spaghetti wl
meat sauce, salad, home made bread
and dessert.
$3.50 adults and $2.50 children.

Loaves and Fishes is distributing

until the surplus is exhausted. You
may receive one time each month if
income eligible. Bring proof of in-

HANDMADE QUILT FOR
SALE
The Hinton Senior Citizens has a
beautiful handmade quilt for sale.
This quilt may be seen at the Sum-
mers County Visitors Center (
formelry Cox's Department Store).
Bids will be accepted until noon,
Apr. 15. The agency reserves the
right to reject any, and all bids.
Proceeds from this special fun-
draising will be used to help replace
floor tile at the Hinton Senior Citi-
zens Center.
CONCERT
On Sat. Mar. 30 at 7:00pro, the
SELECT ENSEMBLE of Emmaus
Bible College, Dubuque, Iowa, will
present a 75 minute program of
Christian music entitled CHRIST
IS RISEN. The concert will be pre-
sented at Riverview Chapel, Corner
of 16th Ave. and Temple St. in Hin-
ton.
The 13 member ensemble is di-
rected by Miriam J. Anderson of the
Emmaus Sacred Music Department
faculty. Area churches are cordially
i n vited to share the =Emmaus Expe-
rience through the Ensembles out-
standing ministry of music and spo-
ken word.

The residents and staff of Sum-
mers Co. Cont. Cars Center at I-Jill-

attend an Easter Vesper Service at

ute to the American troops that have
served and are still serving in the

Meetings will be held nightly at
7:00. The speaker will be Butch
Honaker, pastor of Roles Chapel
Baptist Church.
There will be special music and a
nursery will be provided. You are

SPECIAL BUS TRIP
To Richwood Ramp Feast
The Summers County Council on
Aging will take buses to Richwood
Apr. 6th. to a Ramp Dinner. In order
to help cover expenses for bus use,
we will have to charge $4.00 per
person for transportation. Each
person will be responsible for pur-
chasing their own dinner. This is the
53rd observance of the :Feast of the
Ramson." The menu consists of fried
potatoes, ham, bacon, brown and
white beans, ramps, cornbrsad,
desserts, and sassafras tea.

Summers County 4-H All Stars
will meet Mar. 28th. at W. Vs. Uni-
versity Extension Office. The meet-
ing will start at 6:30.

met recently at the Sandstone Bap-
tist Church Fellowship Building.
The regular Mar. monthly busi-
ness meeting was held and a spring
trip through the Bluestone Dam was
planned.

The Diabetes Support Group will

to the Dean's List at the Indiana
University. The total number of
students qualified was 4,171.
Dean's List students must earn at
least a 3.5 grade-point average from
a possible 4.0 in a minimum of 12
hours of course work.
These students will be honored at
this year's traditional Founders Day
ceremony on Apr. 14th, at the Bloom-
