Leslie Haga Sr. gets an accurate level on the Veterans Memorial
Marker in honor of Francis Meadows at the Peterstown Cemetery
in Monroe County. Meadows was the father of 16 children, 12 of
them sons. Meadows was a "Prisoner of War" of the British during
the Revolutionary War, so noted on his tombstone.
