Appraisal/Assessment Increase: Total assessed value of property, excluding additional assessments due to new or improved property, exceeds last year's total assessed value of property by 3.63% 2. Lowered Rate necessary to Offset Increased Assessment: The tax rate which would levy the same amount of property tax as last year, when multiplied by the new total assessed value of property with the exclusion mentioned above, per $100 of assessed value on each class property, would be: Lowered Tax Rate: Class I 14.26 cents Class II 28.52 cents Class III 57.04 cents Class IV 57.04 cents 3.
