Brandon J. Sears Candidacy for Sheriff of Summers County
I am pleased to announce my candidacy for Sheriff of Summers County. I ' m life long resident of Summers
County, as I was born and raised in the Pence Springs area. My parents are Jerry and Susie Sears. I graduated
Summers County High, as a member of the National Honor Society, I have served proudly with volunteer fire
departments serving as a fire fighter then promoted to Lieutenant in the Summers County area helpnig
citizens with any needs that they might need to a structural fire or a car wreck.
I have several certificates as I'd be more than happy to sit down and discuss them all. To name a few, In Arson
one and Arson 2 certified, officer one, and officer two certified - which in those two classes I learned to do
budgets, manage money, Grant Writing, Manpower, and supervise to make a great department. I've also
taken forcible entry classes and know how to do any type of investigation, as I am knowledgable of the WV
law. I am currently working at the Grenbrier Hotel Security as a Lieutenant proudly serving six plus years
and a firefighter at the Tri - County Volunteer Fire Department, I love helping and serving community.
I believe in Team Work helping everyone that's in need and everyone working together. As I feel it's time for
a change in this great county we live in "Working" together we can make this happen. I would apprecate your
vote in May "2016". As I would have a open door policy to everyone in the county 24/7 as I would always be
there to listen to your concerns and always take care of a1~y situation that may arise.
