PLEASANT
Mrs. Bobble Willie Pleassat,
was dead an arrival Wed-
~y February 8 at a Sum-
,me~ County hospital after a
long illness.
Born Oct. 4, 1911, in Men-
roe County, she was a daughter
of Annie Walker ~ of
Charleston and the late LOn
Gore.
Mrs. Pleasant had I/red meet
of her life in Hlnton, a mem-
ber of Mr. Carmel Methodist
Church in Ballard, Order of
Eastern Star Lodge 27 of Hln-
ton.
Survivors include her hus-
band, Holley Pleasant, a dau-
ghter, Barbara Pack White of
Rand; two sisters, Kathleen
' Gore of Charleston sad bucilla
Smith of Institute; a brother,
James Mills of Rand and sev-
eral nieces and nephewl.
Services were held Saturday
February 11 at 2p.m. in the Mt.
Carmel Methodist Church with
the Rev. Kelley Sparke off-
ieiating. Burial followed in the
Mr. Carmel Cemetery.
The body was at the Row
aid Meadows Funeral Parlors
in Hinton and at the church one
hour prior to services.
CAMPBELL
Mrs. Orpha B. Camphell, 90,
died Thursday February I0 at
6:30 pro. in a Summers Co-
unty hospital after a long
illness.
Born May 26, 1893, in Sum-
mers County, she was a dau-
ghter of the late James and
Amanda Lowe Keatley.
Mrs. Campbell was a lifelong
resident of Monroe and Sum-
mers counties and a member of
the Indian Mills Baptist Ch-
urch.
She was preceded in death by
her husband, William A. Camp-
bell, Jan. 1967.
Survivors include a daughter,
Beatrice Sims of Bal/engee;
four sisters, Lowie Beckett of
Athens, Lizzie Stennett of
Princeton, Lessle Diekenson of
Red Sulphur Springs and Nellie
Mcclay of Rainelle,
Services were held Sunday
February 12 at 2 p.m. in the
Renald Meadows Funeral Par-
lore in Hinton with the Bey.
Charles O. Dameron
officiating. Burial followed in
the Indian Mills Cemetery.

HUNTER
Edward Strlekler Hunter, 64,
died Friday February 10 in a
Summers County hospital after
a long illness.
Born April 26, 19!9, in Hin-
ton, he was a son of the late
William S. and Elsie Belle
Chambers Hunter.
Mr. Hunter had lived most of
his life in Summers County,
was a retired engineer for the
Chessie System retiring April I,
1983. He was a member of
Brotherhood of Locomotive
Engineers, a World War II
veteran and a member of the
Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include two sisters,
Mrs. Harold (Kathy) Weig-
artz of Hinton and Virginia
Price of Wilmington, DeL, sad
a brother, William E. Hunter of
Burbon, Me,
Services were held Monday
February 13 at 2 p.m. at the
Ronald Meadows Funeral Par-
lors ifl'l-Iinton with the Rev.
Lance Ynst officiating. Burial
followed in the Greenbrier Bur-
ial Park in IZAntun.
MANN
Mrs. Mamie Mann, 91, for-
merly of Lowell and Jackson,
Ohio. died Friday February 10
at the home of a son, Ralph
Mann, after a long illness.
Born May 2¢, 18~, at Rock
Camp, she was a daughter of
the late John Ingram and Betty
Sue Ramsay Haselwood.
Mrs. Mann was a two-year
resident of Forest Hill.
She was preceded in death by
her husband, Granville Mann in
1954.
Other survivors include a
brother, Paul W. Mann of Hill-
dale; four grandeblldren and
four great - grandchildren.
Services were held Sunday
February 12 at 2 p.m. at the
Broyles Funeral Home chapel
in Peterstown with the Rev.
Fred Howdoek officiating. Bur.
ial followed in the Swope Ceme-
tery at Lindaido.
