The week of The National Cele-
bration of the Outdoors will start on
the 20th anniversary of Earth Day,
Sun. April 22 and last until Sun.
April 29. Earth Day started in 1970
and is based on such issues as elimi-
nating pollution and preserving
parks and country sides.

Girl Scout volunteer are working to
plan activities for the Celebration
