Anne "Annie" McMillion, new Executive Director of the Greenbrier Historical Society, welcomes everyone to visit the Historical Society North House Museum, Archives, and Library. The Greenbrier Historical Society (GHS) is excited to announce a new executive director, Annie McMillion. She comes with a Master's Degree in Information Science from Florida State University and a Regent's Bachelor of Arts Degree from Bluefield State College (now University). While selecting coursework to complete the Regent's degree, she focused primarily on pre colonial and colonial American history courses which, combined with the Master's Information Science, provides a strong foundation for collections and archive management. She lives in pleased to have found Annie. We think her administrative skills along with her deep background in information science will help us move forward as we share the treasure that is the history of the Greenbrier Valley." McMillion said, "I'm honored to join the staff, board, and volunteers of the Greenbrier Historical Society: we share both an enthusiasm for our history and the vision to increase the outreach and services of our archives, library and museum.
