Respite Care Spells Relief The holiday season can be a stressful time, even under the best of circumstances. Added pressure due to financial worries, health concerns, or other personal problems can push us close to the edge. In times like these, we, asparents, may end up taking or frustrations out on our children, in spite of our best intentions. Sometimes, the opportunity to have brief reprieve from the responsibilities of child care can help us to renew our energy and better appreciate our children, making a more enjoyable holiday season for the whole family. Ira lack of funds or not being able to find an appropriate care provider/ baby sitter is keeping you from taking a much needed break from your child care responsibilities, the Family Resource Center's Respite Care Program may be able to help. We can arrange if necessary, and help pay for short-term child care to enable you to have a brief period of relief and rest and/or tend to some of the many things on your "to do" list. Taking some time for yourself can sometimes be the most unselfish i thing you do for your family. Care can be provided by someone of your choosing, or we can help you locate someone. For more information about the Respite Care Program, call 466-2226 and ask for Lynn or Dabble. (CHRISTMAS) Friday, December 25 CLOSED - HOLIDAY (CHRISTMAS).
