Ward would like to express their appreciation to all our friends and In an effort to continue projects supporting young women, Hinton BPW in conjunction with Delta Kappa Gamma Teacher's Honorery Society, hosted a Career Awareness Seminar on Tues., Nov. 15th. All Summers County High School elev- enth and twelfth grade young ladies were invited to join club members in the school cafeteria. Six professional women were invited to speak about their per- sonal career choices and to share advice and information regarding choosing a career. The presenters included a Methodist Minister, a certified Speech and Language Pa. thologist, a Registered Nurse, an Executive Director with a national cosmetics firm, a certified Recrea- tional Director, and an Executive Director of a tourism organization. A question and answer session was opened after the guest speakers had completed their presentations. A tea followed the session and the young ladies were encouraged to continue conversation with the guest speakers and club members. There will be s drop off station at the cemetery entrance for those who wish to make donations of canned food, toys, or monetary contributions. All donations will be given to LOAVES & FISHES to be distributed to less fortunate families in Summers County. LOAVES & FISHES is a community service organization that has served Summers County for nine years, by assisting families in need of food, clothing, and financial help with utilities. Please don't miss this event. Come and enjoy our decorations, Carolers, recorded Christmas music, and help someone less fortunate.
