Everyone is welcome. GUNTER REUNION The Annual Gunter Reunion will be on Sat. July 14. It will be on Swell Mountain, above Sandstone in Summers County. Bring a covered dish and your lawn chair. Lunch will begin at 1 p.m. There will be live music all afternoon. Watch for signs from Sandstone to the top of the Mountain (Almost Heaven). Turn up the Laurel Creek / Ramp Rd. Follow the signs. Bring family and friends and enjoy the day. FARMERS MARKET NOW OPEN 'The Summers County Farmers Market is now open every Friday at 7:30 a.m. at the Shepard's Care Family Worship Center on Stokes Drive in Hinton. Come out a get all your fresh fruits and vegetables grown by local producers at reasonable prices. All products grown right here in Summers and surrounding counties and picked fresh for the market. All vendors accept Senior and WIC vouchers for approved produce. GOSPEL SING The JumpingBranch/Nimitz Senior Citizens Community center is hosting a Gospel Sing at the Center in Jumping Branch, Saturday, July 7 at 7 p.m. The Center is located behind the Tabernacle Church and Jumping Branch/Nimitz Grade School on Route #3, between Jumping Branch & Nimitz. "The Bluestone Baptist Trio  featuring Susan Richmond, Mary Pat Duncan and Faron Young, from the Bluestone Baptist Church of Jumping Branch, will be the guest singers. Bring a covered dish and come enjoy some good singing, food and fellowship! BOARD MEETING The Southern Conservation' District monthly board meeting is scheduled for Thursday, July 12. The meeting will be held at the Southern Conservation District building, 463 Ragland Road, Becklev. The meeting will begin promptly at 9:45 a.m. Normal business will be conducted. SPECIAL MEETING The Southern Conservation District will hold a special meeting on Thursday, July 19. The meeting will be held at the Southern Conservation District building, 463 Raglan Road, Beckley. The meeting will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. Agenda topics will review the operation and maintenance on WVCA/SCD Flood Control Structures and Channels in the SCD area along with any other new business related to the SCD operations.
