GED TEST ADMINISTRATION The GED test will be administered at the Monroe County Vocational Technical Center at Lindside in two sessions on Thurs., June 29th., and Sat., July 1st. The Thurs. session will begin at 6:30 pm and the Sat. session at 8:30am. Ifyou want to take the test, or re- take part of it, you must register in advance. The cost will be $25.00 for the complete test, or $7.00 for each individual test. Anyone interested in taking the GED test please con- tact Wayne Cowder, GED Exam- iner, Telephone 832-6457. LOAVES & FISHES CAMP APPLICATIONS AVAILABLE Applications for the Loaves and Fishes 1995 Summer Camp for low- income youth are now available at the organization's 127 Ballengee St. office during its regular 10AM-2PM hours on Mon., Wed., and Fri. The camp will be held at Camp Summers from June 26-June 30th. for youth, ages 6-10. There will be no charge for county children eligible for free/reduced school meals. A limited number ofslots are available for youth from families who can pay. For more information call 466-2110 during office hours. PICNIC Chestnut Grove Baptist Church annual picnic will be held at the 4-H Camp on Sun. June 18th. from 10:00 a.m. til dark. RUSSELL REUNION The annual Russell reunion of the late O.H. and Bessie Russell will be held on Tues. July 4th. at the shelter at the little league baseball park at Bellepoint, beginning at 12:00 noon and ending at 4:00 p.m. All family and friends are invited to come and share in the fellowship and good food, and please bring your recipes so we can get the Russell Reunion Cookbook started. Thank you, President Faye Miller, every- one please bring a picnic basket. WEST VIRGINIA WATER FESTIVAL DOG SHOW The W. Va. Water Festival is gearing up for the return of the Dog Show for the 1995 season. This is a favorite for kids of all ages. Catego- ries will include: Crowd Pleaser, Best Trick, Dog/Owner Look-Alike, Wag- giest Tail, Best Dressed, Most Col- ors in Coat, Most Unusual Breed, Shinest Coat, Best in Show. Entry fees will be $6.00 per dog. Senior Citizens will be charged $5.00 per dog. If you don't have an entry, come join in the fun as a spectator. BOOK SALE The Summers County Public Library is having a June used book sale. The sale begins June 1st. and will end June 30th. (or whenever all the books are sold!). Hurry in!
