Receives Golden Apple Award The WJBF News Channel 6 Golden Apple Award was held on May 5, 3017 at Augusta University and honors teachers that achieve outstanding results with students by inspiring them to learn and by equipping them with the skills and attitude needed to succeed. Debby Coins Wallish was honored and she teaches preschool children at Waynesboro Primary School in Georgia. In her speech Debby said that "1 am the Momma Duck with 22 baby ducks following me. At recess time I get bouquets of dandelions and hugs from my students. I am the first teacher they have and I teach them to have fun learning and to know that they are loved by me."
