JOSEPH M. BENNETT Joseph Michael "Mike" Bennett, 54, of Hinton entered into eternal rest Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Specialty Select Hospital in Charleston, WV following a long illness. Born January 30,1963 at Hinton he was a son of Ramona Crook Bennett of Hinton and the late Joe T. Bennett. Mike was a member of Bellepoint Baptist Church, a 1984 Hinton High School Graduate where he was a member of the football team.A proud Bobcat sports fan, Mike enjoyed sports and game shows on television and loved to travel. Mike has been an inspiration and friend to all that knew him. We will greatly miss his loving smile. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his materna! grandparents, Howard and Myrtle C/'ook and paternal grandparents, Raymond and Mazie Bennett; and one brother, Brian Scott Bennett. Besides his mother, those left to cherish his memory include one brother, Stephen Bennett and companion Alicia Meadows of Hinton; one niece, Britini Williams; one nephew, Triston Bennett; caregiver, Peggy Elkins; several aunts, uncles, cousins whom loved him dearly. Born March 25, 1962 at Hinton she was a daughter of Mildred J. Adkins Bennett of Hinton and the late Russell Samuel Bennett. Debbie was of the Baptist faith She was an employee of Advance Auto in Columbus, OH and most recently in Hinten. Debbie enjoyed fishing, camping, muscle cars, drag racing, NASCAR and spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends. She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Mary Frances Grimmett; one sister, Wilma Angell and one brother, Russell "Shorty" Bennett. Besides her mother, those left to cherish her memory include her husband, John M. Grimmett at 'home; one daughter, Jeanette Grimmett of Columbus, OH; one granddaughter, Kaitlyn L. Grimmett of Columbus, OH; one brother, Bobby Bennett and wife Charlotte of Herndon; one half brother, Gary Keaton and wife Julie of Hinton and one half sister, Connie Ward and husband Timmy of Hinton. Funeral services were held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. Burial followed in the Upland Cemetery. Friends called from 11:00 a.m. until time of services on Wednesday, April 26 at the funeral parlors. Family and friends served as pallbearers.
