April 4, 2000 Community .Bulletin Board MEET YOUR CANDID-ATE PIE " SUPPER -- STRING MUSIC The Citizenship and Patriotism Committee and the Finance Committee of the Pipestem Ruritan Club are sponsoring a Meet Your Candidate Pie Supper Saturday, April 15th. at the Pipestem Ruritan Community Center Building located 1/4 mile off.of Route 20 East of Cook&apos;s Chapel Church on the Braodway Read. Look for signs, x Social hour from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Pie Sal;e will begin at 7:00 P.M., followed by introduction candidates. Each candidate will be given an opportunity to speak briefly. All candidates, both Democrat, Republican and Nonpartisan whose .name's will appear on the ballot in Summers County have been invited to attend. Everyone is invited to come out, ' meet and talk withyour candidates and enjoy an evening of good entertainment, fellowship and string music. Hot dogs will be sold. Free drinks and donuts will be available. Everyone welcome. REVEAL SERVICES Revival services will be held April 9-14 at Freedom Baptist Church with guest speaker Tim Spencer. Services will be at 7:00 p. m. with special singing nightly. Pastor Pete Cook and congregation invites everyone to attend. PUBLIC MEETING On Thursday, April 6th., at 7:00pm a Public Meeting will be held by the Army Corps of Engineers to provide more information on the Bluestone Dam Safety Assurance Project. This is an important nibbling. The Project will affect our entire county. Please plan to attend! DONKEY BASKETBALL A Donkey Basketball game will be held at Talcott Elementary School on Friday April 7th. at 7:00 p. m. Come early and eat. EASTER MUSICAL The Meadow Bridge Cantata Choir will present an Easter Musical, "For God So Loved The World ...." on Sunday, April 16th., at 5 P.M. at the Meadow Bridge Methodist Church.
