President Ronald Reagan officially designated March as National Social Work Month in 1984. This year's theme is "The Power of Social Work: Community Needs. Human Connections." The facility recognizes the contributions made by Regina Ellison and Penny Cole, Social Workers at Summers Continuous Care Center. We would like to take this time to celebrate their tireless efforts in helping meet the needs of our aging population. Social Workers help to connect the nursing home residents, family members, and nursing home facilities with the community. Social workers practice their profession in nursing homes by helping caregivers meet the challenge of long-term care, depression, senile dementia, and Alzheimer's. They also provide services such as discharge planning and play a very important role in assisting the resident and family members when adjusting to the changes brought on by going to a nursing home to live. Today's social workers provide the compassionate care and services that help our aging society live a fuller and longer life. We are proud of the dedication Regina and Penny have in our community and to our residents and family members. The employees of Summers Continuous Care Center would like to take this opportunity to thank all social workers for their contribution to the health and welfare of the aging population of our community. To connect with the social worker at Summers Continuous Care Center, call 304-466-0332. BOARD MEETING The Southern Soil Conservation " ............
