March 19, 2002 MIHOW Baby Closet "= Renovated And Expanded ., The MIHOW Baby SupplyC;oset, to 2 dollars per item will be asked l qcated at the REACHH House at from the general public who use the j. 7 176 Pleasant Street in Avis, has Closet. With these donations we will recently been enlarged, remodeled and reorganized. New clothing acks, bins, shoe racks, and tables !:have been constructed,and labeled Its make it easier to find things. The Closet is also currently well stocked ith baby formula with iron. -Z,. Now that more storage space is available, donations of baby clothing and equipment are being solicited. The Supply Closet is particularly in : eed of car seats, high chairs, cribs, ''and baby swings that are in good condition. Donations can be dropped :,ff either at REACHH or at the Family Resource Center at 411 Temple Street. -- The Baby Supply Closet will be open to both MIHOW Program participants, and the general public -Thursdays and Fridays from 12. , :noon to 3 pro. A donation of 50 cents be able to continue our renovation and to offer a place to buy gently used baby items. MIHOW clients can still stop once a month free of charge. During the other times of the week, the baby closet will be closed unless you have an appointment. An appointment can be made though the REACHH-Family Resource Center, by calling Helen Humphrey at 466-2226 The MIHOW program, sponsored by REACHH-Family Resource Center, serves families with children ages birth - three. Home visitors provide information about pregnancy, child development and community resources. Childbirth classes, parent-toddlers playgroups, anda variety of family activities are also offered.
