BSC Announces Fall Semester 2001 Dean and President's List The Bluefield State College Fall " Semester 2001 Dean's and President's List have been announced. Three hundred fifty students earned Dean's List recognition, and an additional 150 students merited inclusion in the President's List. Dean's List students achieved at least a 3.25 grade point average and successfully completed at least 12 Fall Semester 2001 hours. President's List students achieved at leasta 3.80 grade point average and COUNCIL ON AGING This is a weekly publication of the Summers County Council on Aging, Inc., 120 Second Ave., Hinton. Creative Writing Workshop Published author and singer- songwriter Colleen Anderson of Charleston will be leading a creative r'itidg workslxop or - yeuth and adults at the REACHH-FRC Child Advocacy Center at 411 Temple Street in Hinton, on April 13th., from 2-5pm. The workshop will be followed by a pizza Party for participants, beginning at 5:30, and Colleen will be performing at a benefit Coffee House at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Hinton beginning at 7:30 that evening. According to Colleen, "Creative Writing can be a way to explore your memories, express your personality, anti jump-start your imagination." Participants are asked to bring pencil and paper and be prepared to "Listen, laugh a little and write a lot!" as she leads them through several short exercises designed to stimulate creativity. The workshop is free to youth, and costs $10 for adult participants. Scholarships are available.
