Scheduled in a workshop format from 4 to 7 p. m., the meeting will afford participants an opportunity to ask questions and state their views and opinions on four options to be studied in the New River Parkway Supplemental Draft Environmental Impact Statement. The options, for short-- and long-term resource protection, range from acquiring only the right of way needed for construction of the Parkway to acquiring all land between the Parkway and the New River and purchasing conservation easements on other key properties. Highways personnel will be on hand to present information and receive public input. To expand the time available for discussion of the proposed project to accommodate more participants, Highways representatives will join with officials of the Federal Highway Administration earlier in the day for an open forum from 10 a. m. to 1 p. m. in the County Commission Room on the second floor of the Summers County Courthouse at 120 Ballangee Stseet in Hinton.
